Current release
The current GPAC release is 1.0.1 (released in September 2020).
Put them in a folder with the mp4box.exe and opened a command box there. First I ran mp4box.exe -? And it warned me I was missing some.dll file. I put all the.dll files from the extracted gpac folder in the work folder. I was missing some.dll file(s). I guess the system never complained because I'm using these.bat files. Of course it isn't a recent build and you have to use it through terminal, but it's the only mac compatible program that i know of that allows you to take a video track and an audio track and multiplex them in a mp4 container.

- iOS (needs re-signing for your device)
The source code for this release is available as a zip or tar.gz archive and as a git tag.

Nightly builds
GPAC is built according to continuous development concepts. It means that each installer has been tested. You can check out our nightly builds for development versions.
There are tested automatically and should be considered safe for most users who need the latest features. If you encounter any issue, please report on github.
Note: iOS build is for iOS platform, starting from iOS 8.0. Be aware you have to sign the main executable (i.e. osmo4ios.app/osmo4ios) by your own means.
Legacy builds
The last legacy version (prior to filters rearchitecture) is GPAC 0.8.1. It will be maintained (critical bug fix only, no new features) until June 2021. Installers for the legacy version are available here.
GPAC is licensed under the GNU Lesser General Public License. Mp4box Mac Download Torrent
The beta Flash player 9 , allows for playback of mp4 files containing AVC video and AAC audio. The example worked but the entire file was first downloaded before playback started. This is because the so called moov atom, is not in front of the file. To fix this on Mac OSX, I first downloaded MP4box (for OSX/PPC). Then, I issued the command: mp4box -inter 500 test.mp4 and uploaded the test.mp4 file. Now, the demo is faststart!
To make sure, I made no errors, I made a second example that is indeed not fast start. The I issued the mp4box command:

It would be nice that somehow I could figure out where the moov atom is with mp4box. But that's for another post.
